🛎️ 3 Ideas for Your Hospitality Instagram for THIS WEEK!
Super easy to implement. Just copy and paste these, and see how your audience responses!
Before we dive into this week’s edition, please vote in the poll below. It’d help me out tremendously! No, seriously.
I spend a lot of time writing these newsletters each week, and I’d love to take it to the next level. But it’d be helpful to know if any of you would be truly interested in this. I imagine the price would be less than two Starbucks coffees a month 💸
So….
UNLIMITED INSPIRATION? Please read!
I’m planning on creating a special, paid membership (small fee) where you’d get multiple new ideas for your hospitality social media, every week.
You’d get an email similar to this one on a weekly basis, and access to an archive of all “past” ideas. Meaning you’d never run out of ideas to post!

3 Ideas for Your Instagram This Week ⤵️
1️⃣ A carousel of videos
How to do it?
Take two short videos of the table: side-ways + bird’s eye view
Then take a few short close-up videos. Move the camera along the dishes. Cut some of the food, or let someone take a bit or a sip of a drink.
Last but not least, take a video of the surrounding area. Whether these are nooks in your coffee shop, or corners in your AirBnB, or shots from a hotel’s restaurant.
Now you’ve got all your footage. Next, take these to a video editor, like Canva or Capcut. Add a title to the first video, similar to the one underneath. You could only edit the first video here, and complete the rest on Instagram itself. Or simply edit everything in Canva or Capcut (stuck? Look for tutorials on YouTube - there are plenty!).
Finally, add some music, write a caption (use the formula I explained here) and hit post!
Here’s another, similar carousel:
2️⃣ What are your plans this weekend?
This one’s incredibly easy! And you can have it go live this Friday. How?
Take ~3 different videos that match your brand.
AirBnB or hotel? Take a video of your best room, then the next best room OR the terrace, rooftop or balcony, and lastly a view from afar. Even better: feature people in all 3.
Restaurant, coffee shop or café? Follow the inspiration in the video below.
Hotel with restaurant? You can choose what’s best for you to create.
Add the overlay text: “What are your plans for the weekend?”
You could mimic the caption, but give it your own flair. Add a CTA: “Share this with someone you want to spend the weekend with.”
3️⃣ 3 videos in one (or more!)
I’ve seen this layered video-idea pop-up on my feed over and over again over the last weeks. You can do it with 3 videos, or more. Those videos can be directly related (like the one below, 3 different drinks), or they could be, for example, 4 ingredients to one dish. Another idea is to just show 3-5 different areas of your venue.
→ You could show a “before and after”
→ Or a 9am, 12pm, 3pm and 6pm
→ Or a “making” and “made” (of a dish)
Recreating these videos isn’t rocket science. Hence I’ll simply share some inspiration here and you can copy these ideas as you see fit!

✅ Three Things You Can Do Right Now
1️⃣ Capture footage. Make sure to have your phone ready to take different shots at your restaurant, hotel, Airbnb (or whatever hospitality business you run) throughout this week. More = better in this case.
2️⃣ Filter the footage, and see what you can use to recreate the 3 ideas mentioned in this newsletter.
3️⃣ Bring the footage into Canva, Capcut or your editing software of choice and create. Don’t overthink it. You’ve got everything you need in this newsletter. Create, and post!
That’s it for this week!
And please, don’t forget to vote in that poll at the top of this e-mail. It’d truly mean a lot to me to see if some of you would sign up for something like this!
See you next week,
Caroline 👋
